Logroño City’s Climate and Sustainable Energy Action Plan
Description
The purpose is to engage technical assistance for the preparation and development, within the framework of the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, the Climate and Sustainable Energy Action Plan (hereinafter the PACES) for the Municipality of Logroño, with the aim of defining the actions to be taken to achieve the targets set for 2030, namely a 55% reduction in CO2eq emissions.
The service will consist of the preparation of the following main documents:
- Baseline Emissions Inventory (GHG)
- Climate Change Vulnerability and Risk Assessment
- Climate and Sustainable Energy Action Plan (PACES). Mitigation, adaptation and energy poverty
In addition, the service will include the preparation of the following documents:
- PACES Executive Summary
- Initial Documentary Analysis
- Historical trends and future climate projections for Logroño
- Communication and Public Engagement Strategy
Objectives
- Preparation of a Baseline Emissions Inventory (GHG), Climate Change Vulnerability and Risk Assessment, and a Climate and Sustainable Energy Action Plan (PACES). Mitigation, adaptation and energy poverty.
- Drafting of supporting documents: PACES Executive Summary, Initial Literature Review, Historical Trends and Future Climate Projections for Logroño, and Communication and Public Engagement Strategy.
Actions
- Calculation of GHG emissions in Logroño across the city council, PACES and municipal sectors.
- Predictive simulations of meteorological and climatic conditions for risk analysis.
- Support in the development of the City Council’s Action Plan through surveys, workshops and the drafting of a final report to serve as a guide for the Plan.
- Updating of the emissions calculator designed in the previous PACES project for the city of Logroño.
Expected Results
- Experience in drafting new reports for other cities that are members of the Covenant of Mayors.

HYDRA focuses on understanding and addressing the potential impact of widespread hydrogen use on climate, environment and society. The project assesses a scenario of high hydrogen penetration in the energy mix.
MOBILITIES FOR EU
MOBILITIES for EU aims to accelerate the transformation of cities towards climate neutrality through innovative solutions in passenger and freight mobility.
INHERIT
The overall vision of INHERIT is to create a systematic methodology, accompanied by leading-edge Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and (big) data analytics, and associated social/behavioural practices, towards sustainable, inclusive and resource-efficient Cultural Heritage (CH) solutions.

BUILDSPACE
BUILDSPACE aims to couple terrestrial data from buildings with aerial imaging from drones equipped with thermal cameras and location annotated data from satellite services to deliver innovative services for the building and urban stakeholders and support informed decision making towards energy-efficient buildings and climate resilient cities.
SUPERSHINE
SUPERSHINE project is based on the renvoation of 3 pilot lighthouse districts focusing on the needs of the social housing inhabitants and on social assets generating high social capital and cohesion.
MOVE2CCAM

REHOUSE project has as main objective the development and demonstration, up to TRL7, of 8 renovation innovative technologies packages, designed for covering a wide range of building renovation actions, allowing overcome the actual barriers that makes the renovation rates in Europe being low.
ECOESION_TOOL
The main objective of Ecoesion_tool project is the implementation of a web-based, easy-to-use and user-friendly tool based on the Ecoesion model developed by the University of PISA (UNIPI)

PACES Logroño
The aim of the project is the preparation and elaboration in the framework of the Deal of Majors for the Climate and Energy, of the Plan of Action for the Climate and Energy Sustainable of the municipality of Logroño.
