KoM PROTECH 2024

Preventive Approaches to the Conservation of European Cultural Heritage

The Ministry of Culture of Castilla y León is leading the PROTECH 2024 project, which seeks to share experiences and new technologies for the conservation of European cultural heritage.

The next May 14 and 15 its kick-off meeting will be held in the city of Valladolid where different entities will meet to share the first steps of this new project.

CARTIF will participate in this meeting as an external speaker to the project, invited due to its experience in the subject. On May 15, our colleague Pedro Martín Lerones, director of the Heritage area of CARTIF, will give a presentation on preventive conservation in historic buildings where he will show the different developments that are being carried out in the iPhotoCult project; European project in which CARTIF is a partner.
