Proyecto TALENT

TALENT Workshop: Profitable technological developments to accelerate the transition to clean energy

The EU-funded project TALENT aims to offer cost-effective solutions for grid flexibility, by providing a modular, scalable format that can be managed by an interoperable software at home, district and utility-scale levels.
The project will hold its first Online Workshop, named ‘Cost effective technological developments to accelerate clean energy transition’, on 17 December 2020, directed at its main stakeholders.

The TALENT project pursues to increase the flexibility of the electric system by reducing the costs associated to the integration of batteries in the grid. To achieve it, three new technological elements will be developed: modular and scalable power electronic topologies, integration of new power electronic devices designed for specific voltage level, and finally systems to manage energy systems that are interoperable and able to be used as a service.
