[WALNUT] ESNI Conference 2022
European Sustainable Nutrient Initiative – ESNI 2022
Next tuesday 29th March will take place the third edition of the European Sustainable Nutrient Initiative.
This conference is one of the main events about nutrients recycling. ESNI will offer a platform for fruitful discussion and interchange of knowledge on the sector in Europe. Policy-makers, researchers, industry representatives and many other stakeholders will discuss how to raise awareness on the benefits of nutrient recycling and reuse (NRR).
For this edition, will be presented innovative solutions developed by projects of our community to create value added products from nutrient recycling and favor the transition to the circular economy. ESNI will be also the occasion to launch the Nutrient Recycling Community, a platform intended to foster the collaboration with relevant initiatives and projects on nutrient recycling in Europe.
The event will also include a policy session organised by Circular Agronomics which will discuss ways to achieve the goals set by the Farm to Fork strategy for reduction in nutrient losses by 2030. This will feed from the results and experience developed in Circular Agronomics as well as in three other projects funded through the H2020 programme.
On this event will participate our partners of the WALNUT project, coordinated by Francisco Corona, where they will talk about the development of the project.
