Supporting the transition towards circular economy in European cities and regions: development of a replicable model for local circular economy projects

Description

InvestCEC will develop a replicable model to implement circular economy projects in european cities and regions, taking into account all the relevant interest parts.Specifically, the model will support the entrepeneurs to prepare theri investment in circular economy solutions. The viability of the model will be demonstrate after at Klagenfurt, Austria, as a demonstrator.

Also a platform for favouring the communication between involved entities will be developed with the objective of monitoring the project and its progress. A personalized replication plan will be create for boosting the reproduction of the model in other places of Europe and several activitirs will be carried out for supporting the transition towards circular economy.

  • Support in the creation of tools for the definition of circular economy projects according to local needs.
  • Support in the development of tools that guarantee a complete selection process of the circular economy solutions.
  • Identification and definition of measures to address the main barriers and challenges that slowdown the transition towards circular economy in cities/regions.
  • Participation in the development of guides and resources to replicate the project concept at national and european level.

Expected Results
